So far I've done a couple of braille alphabets in the hope that Mikaail will be able to relearn his alphabets. I must say it is rather difficult to figure the alphabets based on the dots! Anyhow I will continue to teach him how to recognise the alphabets.
Mikaail was diagnosed as cerebral palsy child when he turned one year old. He had stroke at 7. Did stroke rob him of his vision and mobility? I used to think so but not anymore. Looking back I feel it was highly likely his vision was lost due to the mishandling by the so called medical professionals! A student of the Spastic Children Association in Pasir Ris. He attends classes daily, accompanied by Aunty Yaya. He has wonderful and supportive teachers and therapists.

Braille Lettering
A friend, Cheng Choo, from the Gospel Mission to the Blind Ltd came to my home a couple of weeks ago to show my sister how to create the braille letterings for my son, Mikaail. She has very kindly loaned us this metal template and also taught us how to create the braille letterings on sticker paper.
